Draco and Hermione I Patrolling the Corridors

mugglebornandproudofit:

Hermione’s eyes narrowed as he spoke.  She had almost forgotten that he was there for that.  After being tortured until black obscured the edges of her vision she was thrown aside and would have been murdered had Ron not been there, and during all of that Malfoy stood by and watched.  How could she have been so stupid to think he could change?  He would always be the same: stuck-up, prejudiced, and privileged.  “If I remember correctly, it wasn’t the bird who was stupid,” Hermione said coldly.  “Maybe it’d be better if we tried to get some sleep now.”

Anger coursed through Draco. Hadn’t they been getting along so well just a few seconds before? And now what? She just turned around and started treating him with cold contempt again. Or at least that was how he saw it. “What?!” He asked, leaning forwards, “What are you talking about? The stupid bird attacked me!” He said loudly, glaring at her, “You can sleep, but I’m not going to lie on the floor like some kind of animal.” He spat, standing up, “I’m staying right here.” He crossed his arms and lent against the wall, staring obstinately at the ground.

Happy Birthday||Draco and Astoria

Draco had to smile a little as he headed down the corridors towards the room of requirement. It was too late for normal students to be out of bed, but sometime being headboy had it’s perks. He was genuinely amazed at the fact that Astoria had actually remembered his birthday; she was the only person to mention it at all, and he had just stuck to his normal routine, keeping his head down and getting on with this classwork. It still stung a bit though. The idea of Astoria though, definitely cheered him up. He had told her to surprise him, so really he had no idea what to expect. Although if their conversation earlier was something to go by then there definitely was something to look forwards to.

As he walked along the corridor towards the door to the room, he had to worry. This would be the first time he had been in the room since that horrible fire, and despite what Astoria had said, he had to wonder if it would still work. On approaching it, there was a door sat waiting for him, and he turned the handle, opening it and walking in, seeing Astoria stood in the middle of the room. She had her back to him, and he ignored his surroundings, shutting the door quietly behind him and heading over to her, putting his hands on her waist and kissing her neck quickly.

astoriagg:

How romantic Draco. Atleast my song had some meaning.

Yeah! That song had no meaning at all to it! I mean, I just used that one randomly, not because of any reasons whatsoever! *shifty eyes*

Astoria rolled her eyes playfully. “Of course! Don’t want my boyfriend to be awkward or anything,right?” She teased him with a smile. “Oh,please,Draco.” She said shaking her head. “I haven’t exactly done this either,you know.” Astoria flushed at a little at her confession. “Daphne is better at this stuff.” She shrugged and slipped her hand into his. “We just have to give each other a chance,and sometime,that’s all.” She said smiling at him.

Draco smiled down at her, he wondered how he had never noticed before now just how good a person Astoria actually was. “Wait, so I’m your boyfriend now?” He asked, grinning and raising his eyebrows slightly, noticing her choice of words. Squeezing her hand lightly, he let go of it and crossed over to the bar, paying for their drinks and then returning to her and taking hold of her hand again. “So come on then Girlfriend, aren’t you expected back at school?” He led her out of the pub and stood awkwardly looking at her, wondering if he should kiss her or not.
